Provides fuel handlers protection from flash fires, direct skin exposure, and saturation of their duty uniform of fuel during fueling operations, as well as protection during water, and ammunition operations.

Description:
The Flame Resistant Fuel Handlers Coverall (FR FHC) is a one-piece flame resistant (FR) garment that provides JP-8 and electrostatic protection to the fuel handler in all operational and environmental conditions. The coverall is constructed from a tri-layer GORE-TEX® fabric incorporating a breathable GORE-TEX® membrane. The FR FHC can be worn over the Army Combat Uniform, the Army Aircrew Combat Uniform (A2CU) and the Flame Resistant Army Combat Uniform.

The FR FHC replaces the non-FR Fuel Handlers Coverall, a one-piece sand colored garment that provided JP-8 and electrostatic protection and was constructed from tri-layer laminate consisting of a nylon filament outer fabric, a breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, and an anti-static nylon knit backer.
