Description:
The Maxillofacial Shield (MFS) protects Army Aircrew members from fragmentation ballistic threats. They work with the Aircrew Integrated Helmet System (AIHS) HGU-56/P helmet and the RWH HGU-56/P. It is compatible with visors, the Aviator Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS), Communication Ear Plugs (CEP), Communication Enhancement and Protective System (CEPS), spectacles, microphones and lip lights.
